Cheile Nerei-Beușnița National Park is located in the south-west of Romania, in the Aninei Mountains, Caras-Severin County.

The landscape is complex, with an extraordinary diversity: there are over 321 species of plants, over 123 species of animals, the karst relief is evident in many forms: over 470 caves and moraines, rivers and lakes with breathtaking turquoise blue waters.
In the Cheile Nerei National Park there are many famous tourist attractions in Banat, such as the Dracului Lake, Ochiul Bei and many others.
As of 2017, over 4000 ha. of beech forests in the Cheile Nerei – Beusnita National Park are part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

Tickets can be purchased at the entrance points to the park, but we recommend that you have cash with you for payment.
Also, the road up to the Nerei Gorge is rough, with many potholes, but the destination is worth the effort.
